Greedy and RubyCocoa
First little Ruby-based Leopard project? Check. Greedy is a tiny app that can be set as your default RSS reader. It doesn’t do any reading itself (in fact, it doesn’t have a UI at all), but it’ll open Google Reader and point it at the proper URL.
Firefox already has this feature, but I wanted it in Safari without anything extra. Download it now. Leopard only, totally untested. Source is here.
Update: Nope, you don’t need to run it at login or anything. Just drag it to your Applications folder and set Greedy as your Default RSS Reader in Safari.
